1. Anjali Joshi, as a previous winner of the C2A Awards, how has winning the award impacted your career or business in the creative industry?

The experience has not only brought me increased recognition and popularity, but it has also allowed my project to reach a wide and diverse audience.

2. Could you share your experience of the submission and evaluation process for the C2A Awards and any advice you might have for future applicants?

Initially, my mindset when submitting my entry was that participating was the most important aspect, regardless of whether I won or lost. With that in mind, I confidently sent in my work.

3. What inspires your work, and how do you approach the creative process? Do you have any tips or tricks for staying inspired and creative?

Ever since I was a child, I have held a deep fascination for Indian Mythological art and the captivating stories that accompany it. It was a natural choice for me to pursue this subject for my work. In terms of advice, I firmly believe that following one’s passions and dedicating oneself to hard work are the keys to success. When these elements are in place, everything else will inevitably fall into place on its own.

4. What are some of the biggest challenges or obstacles you’ve faced in your career or business, and how have you overcome them?

To communicate the stories, it was necessary to have a visual hierarchy with appropriate fillers between each humanistic pictorials to make it look engaging. The hours of patience to maintain the balance of intricacy and it’s charm; and after all making the structure look like a family was the challenge.

5. In what ways has winning the C2A Award enhanced your credibility and reputation in the creative industry, and how have you leveraged this to further your career or business?

I am humbled by the number of individuals who have reached out to me, expressing a desire to learn about my personal journey and how I arrived at my current position. These interactions have not only boosted my confidence, but they have also served as a reminder of the power of perseverance and hard work.

6. Have you had any networking opportunities or collaborations as a result of winning the C2A Award, and how have these benefited your career or business?

Yes, I have been contacted for collaborations.

7. Have you found that winning the C2A Award has increased the demand for your services or products?

Yes.

8. Looking back on your experience as a C2A Award winner, what would you say were the most valuable aspects of participating in the awards, and would you recommend it to others in the creative industry?

Through this process, I have come to appreciate the value of dedication, persistence, and hard work that are necessary to create a successful project. It has taken countless hours of designing and redesigning until I was able to achieve the perfect balance, requiring both patience and careful planning.
Also, I am highly recommending it to others to participate.

9. How do you stay current with new trends in the industry?* How do you incorporate these into your work?

I find that staying abreast of the latest news and regularly perusing design award pages and scrolling the social medias allows me to stay connected with current trends in the field.

10. And the final question, Anjali Joshi, what are your plans and goals for the future, and how do you see your career or business evolving over time?

My aspiration for the near future is to become a highly accomplished designer, utilizing my skills and creativity to make a positive impact on the world through my designs. It is my desire to win more projects and remains constantly motivated in all that I do, pushing myself to reach new heights and exceed expectations.
